✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
Yes, we do not store aircraft outside. All aircraft are kept in hangars at AZO.

Leasebacks are an agreement where LTBF and the owner sign a contract to allow LTBF to manage, advertise, and use the owner’s aircraft. The owner retains all ownership of the aircraft; LTBF simply facilitates the usage by offering the aircraft to renters. LTBF takes a portion of the revenue in exchange for this service but otherwise all proceeds go to the owner.
-
The owner/operator of LTBF is an A&P/IA, so any maintenance needs can be addressed onsite. However, owners are free to facilitate maintenance from other providers if they so choose.
-
It varies based on the market demand. A more popular, familiar aircraft will fly more than a rare one-of-a-kind one. Modern avionics are also attractive to renters, but the wet rate is also a factor. In short, there are many variables, and we can’t guarantee a minimum/maximum number of hours flown.
-
Aircraft insurance policies are held by Let There Be Flight. Renters are required to have non-owned insurance policies.
